Qualifications

• Freshman year completed; pursuing a Bachelor’s degree during the Co-op term.
• Majors include Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical Engineering or related fields.
• GPA 3.0 or higher across college coursework.
• On-site work in Anasco, Puerto Rico is required during the Co-op.
• Enrollment in an accredited college during the Co-op term is required.

Responsibilities

• Support management and optimization of spare parts storage layouts, space utilization, organization, labeling, and material flow.
• Assist development and maintenance of spare parts management processes: procurement, receiving, storage, replenishment, obsolescence.
• Analyze equipment and maintenance requirements to identify critical spare parts and appropriate inventory levels.
• Monitor inventory parameters: min/max, reorder points, safety stock, critical spares.
• Maintain spare parts data in CMMS and support master data activities.
• Perform inventory and data analysis to identify optimization opportunities and reduce shortages.
• Support spare parts logistics and improve technician access to components.
• Develop and track KPIs for inventory accuracy, service levels, and consumption trends.
• Participate in CI initiatives to reduce downtime and costs; support 5S and visual management.
