Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking an Asset Management Engineer Co-Op in Anasco, Puerto Rico, for the January–December 2027 term. This full‑time Co‑Op role focuses on spare parts inventory management, CMMS data integrity, and continuous improvement to ensure equipment reliability and cost efficiency.

You will support storage layouts, procurement, replenishment, and KPI tracking, collaborating with Maintenance, Engineering, Procurement, and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Completion of Undergraduate Freshman year at an accredited University is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics Engineering, or related engineering disciplines is required.
• Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, reflective of all college coursework.
• Enrollment, although not necessarily taking classes, in an accredited college or university during the Co-op term is required.
• Ability to work fully on-site in Añasco, Puerto Rico.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the management and optimization of spare parts storage layouts, including space utilization, organization, identification, labeling, and material flow.
• Assisting with the development and maintenance of spare parts management processes, including procurement, receiving, storage, replenishment, and obsolescence management.
• Analyzing equipment and maintenance requirements to identify critical spare parts and appropriate inventory levels.
• Monitoring inventory parameters such as minimum/maximum levels, reorder points, safety stock, and critical spares.
• Maintaining accurate spare parts information within CMMS systems and supporting master data management activities.
