Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking an Asset Management Engineer Co-Op for the Anasco, Puerto Rico site. The role focuses on managing spare parts inventory, improving storage layouts, and ensuring reliable equipment operations in a regulated manufacturing environment.

You will collaborate with Maintenance, Engineering, and Procurement to optimize parts availability, data integrity in CMMS, and cost efficiency while supporting continuous improvement initiatives throughout the 2027 term.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in an accredited college during the Co-op term is required.
• Bachelor's degree area must align with the listed disciplines.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher reflective of all coursework.

Responsibilities

• Support spare parts storage layouts and material flow.
• Assist with spare parts management processes including procurement and storage.
• Analyze equipment and maintenance needs to identify critical spares and inventory levels.
• Monitor min/max levels, reorder points and safety stock.
• Maintain CMMS data and master data management activities.
• Identify opportunities to reduce shortages and obsolete inventory.
• Support 5S and visual management in storage areas.
• Collaborate with Maintenance, Engineering, Procurement and suppliers.
