Job summary

Paycom is seeking an Inventory Control Analyst in Flowood, MS to oversee corporate-wide inventory control for OEM and allied parts. You will optimize stock levels, monitor cycle turns, and ensure inventory integrity across branch locations, partnering with Service and Sales teams.

Key responsibilities include data analysis, reporting, and vendor coordination, with heavy emphasis on Excel, SQL, and Power BI to drive actionable insights and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in MIS, data analytics, statistics, logistics, or business administration.
• Expert level Excel required, including complex formulas, PivotTables, and VBA basics.
• Experience with inventory control measures, supply chain systems, or DBS/AS400 is a plus.
• Familiarity with SQL, database structures, and basic programming logic.
• Power BI or comparable analytics tools strongly desired.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, monitor, and optimize Caterpillar parts inventory to maximize availability for parts counter sales and service operations across branches.
• Maintain and generate inventory reports to identify trends and demand.
• Set and adjust inventory parameters; manage surplus, non-moving, and non-returnable items.
