Job summary

Flexsteel Industries, Inc. is seeking an experienced Inventory Supervisor to lead a team responsible for inventory accuracy, warehouse operations, and safety in a fast-paced distribution setting.

You will manage daily activities across inventory, shipping, and yard, driving productivity and quality. The role requires 3–5 years of supervisory experience in warehouse environments, strong organizational and communication skills, and a commitment to safety and process improvement.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of related work experience required.
• Experience supervising employees in warehouse or distribution.
• Strong understanding of inventory control and warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations across inventory, parts, shipping office, and yard activities.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and reporting of products and parts.
• Monitor inventory levels, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.
• Schedule, assign, and oversee employees to meet daily productivity and quality goals.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflows, reduce costs, and increase efficiency.
• Investigate inventory issues and implement root-cause solutions.
• Coordinate shipping office and yard operations, including carrier communication and documentation.
• Ensure safety procedures and quality standards are followed.
• Foster teamwork and cross-department communication.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
