Job summary

Walgreens in Westwego, LA is seeking an Inventory & Operations Associate to execute, monitor, and train store inventory processes across front end and pharmacy. You will support receiving, counting, pricing, and returns, ensure planograms accuracy, and uphold On-Shelf Availability.

You will review reports impacting on-hand balances and pricing, perform asset protection tasks, and assist with store opens/closes as needed to ensure readiness for business days.

Qualifications

• Six months of prior work experience in retail or Walgreens environment preferred.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to multi task and manage execution.
• Experience in identifying operational issues and recommending solutions.

Responsibilities

• Execute, monitor, and train inventory best practices across store, including front end and pharmacy.
• Support pharmacy inventory management: receiving, counting, ordering, and returns.
• Validate planograms and ensure on-shelf availability and pricing accuracy.
• Review reports and system applications affecting on-hand balances and pricing.
• Assist with front end and pharmacy asset protection activities and vendor overages/shortages handling.
• Open and close store in designated stores, including cash handling and POS tasks when required.
