Job summary

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in Inventory or AP accounting, a Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance preferred, strong data analysis and communication skills, and the ability to train plant

Qualifications

• Two to five years of accounting experience in Accounts Payable or Inventory Accounting.
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
• Solid understanding of general accounting and perpetual inventory concepts.

Responsibilities

• Record daily inventory production.
• Blend inventory and ship transactions based on plant data.
• Monitor and review shipment/invoicing status.
• Train plant personnel to provide necessary documentation to support production, changes in inventory and shipping transactions and to reconcile balances.
• Communicate and resolve issues with plant personnel when data does not adequately support the transactions.
• Prepare analyses to support plant, regional and corporate management.
• Implement and enforce policies and effective internal controls.
• Support internal and external audit requests.
• Perform a variety of complicated special projects. May lead and direct the work of others.
• Other duties as assigned
