Job summary

Darling Ingredients Inc. in Irving, Texas is seeking a finance professional to lead planning, budgeting and reporting across plants and business units.

You will manage forecasts, monthly variance analyses, capital expenditure tracking and ad-hoc analyses, using Hyperion Planning tools and Excel. A 3–5 year background in finance or accounting and US GAAP knowledge are required; Big 4 or international company experience is preferred. Travel up to 20% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, accounting or related field.
• 3 to 5 years of professional finance, accounting, budgeting and forecasting experience.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and experience in Big 4 or international company preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and provide timely and accurate management information and reports.
• Coordinate planning & control cycle, including quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting.
• Prepare frequent analysis on SG&A, operating costs and benchmark in and outside the organization.
• Monitor plant and BU performance and provide monthly variance analyses across actuals, budget, latest forecast and prior year by plant / BU.
• Maintenance and support of Hyperion Financial Planning (HFP).
• Train and support local (plant or regional) controllers.
• Critically analyze information and translate it into useful advice and improvement proposals for management.
• Perform tracking, forecasting and analysis of capital expenditures differentiating growth vs. maintenance categories.
• Coordinate with Global Supply Chain Manager and ensure accurate goods flow forecasting.
• Provide data and reporting on an ad-hoc basis.
• Adhere to company policies and processes (including SOX 404).
• Travel up to 20%.
