Job summary

Walgreens Co. is seeking a detail-oriented inventory specialist to support both front end and pharmacy operations. You will manage receiving, counting, pricing, returns, and planograms, while ensuring accuracy across inventory systems and reports.

In designated stores you may open/close the store and handle cash, POS duties, and customer-facing tasks. Prior Walgreens or retail experience and flexible scheduling are preferred for this role.

Qualifications

• Six months of prior Walgreens or one year of retail experience.
• Fluency in reading, writing and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Execute, monitor, and train inventory best practices for store including front end and pharmacy.
• Review and coordinate proper use of reports affecting on-hand balances and pricing.
• Perform front end and pharmacy asset protection tasks and file vendor overage/shortage claims.
• Open/close store in absence of management in designated locations and handle cash and POS duties.
