Job summary

Walgreens in Red Bank, NJ is seeking an Inventory & Operations Associate to manage in-store and pharmacy inventory, pricing, and stock control. You will oversee receiving, counting, returns, and planogram accuracy, while supporting front-end and pharmacy operations and ensuring on-shelf availability.

You will engage customers, coach staff on inventory processes, and perform daily duties including price updates and adherence to store procedures.

Qualifications

• Six months of retail or Walgreens experience.
• Fluent read/write/speak English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Achieving expectations rating on last performance review (internal candidates).
• Attention to detail and ability to multi task.
• Experience in identifying operational issues and proposing solutions.

Responsibilities

• Executes and coaches team on warehouse and vendor inventory management, including creating, reviewing and receiving orders.
• Scans deliveries in-store, handles One Box receiving, and resolves past undelivered receipts with vendors.
• Under pharmacist supervision, verifies pharmacy shipments and posts orders daily.
• Completes On-Shelf Availability (OSA) end‑to‑end processes for planogrammed departments and vendor/DSD tasks.
• Manages pharmacy inventory activities including recalls, vendor returns, damaged salvage, and interstore transfers.
• Performs pricing changes, markdowns, and signage accuracy across departments.
• Supports front end and pharmacy ordering, including monitoring excess orders and maintaining inventory accuracy.
• Supports inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and audits.
