Job summary

Alamo Group Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Worker to perform a variety of material handling tasks in our manufacturing environment.

Under supervision, you will load, unload, and move parts, keeping inventory aligned with the production schedule. You will operate forklifts or manual handling equipment, input received materials into the inventory system, and help maintain accurate stock levels through regular cycle counts and audits.

Responsibilities

• Fills work orders, requests for materials or other stock items distributing items to production workers
• Utilizes forklift or manually unloads materials to/from pallets, racks, and shelves delivered to the BU
• Receives materials into the inventory management system, placing at the proper location within the production system
• Assists with maintaining inventory accuracy and monthly cycle counts by conducting weekly audits of the MRD system
• Works on projects to continuously improve visual re-order points for MRD materials
• Updates the expedite communications boards throughout the day as business is conducted
• Responsible for working closely with production staff to ensure non-conforming materials are identified and are accurately processed in a timely manner
