Job summary

The Material Coordinator at C.H. Guenther & Son ensures inventory accuracy for products, materials, and raw ingredients, aligning physical stock with the ERP system.

The role collaborates with Purchasing and Production to monitor high-dollar items, FIFO consumption, and root-cause inventory discrepancies. Responsibilities include daily cycle counts, printing pallet tags, reporting on LITS and RF gun issues, and maintaining clean, organized storage areas.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred with 2 years shipping/receiving experience.
• 1-2 years inventory experience and forklift/industrial equipment experience.
• Fluent in English; strong math, computer, and Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cycle counts of raw materials (1-3 items daily).
• Ensure inventory accuracy between physical and system records.
• Print and apply pallet tags to all manufactured product.
• Verify incoming materials meet internal specifications (weight, color).
• Report RF gun and label printer issues to IT.
• Maintain FIFO consumption with the production department.
• Follow SQF, GMP, HACCP, OSHA and company safety policies.
• Assist with returning leftover materials to designated areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or team lead.
