Job summary

Greenheck Group in Wisconsin is seeking a Materials Specialist I to support on-time shipping and production by coordinating with scheduling, purchasing, and production supervision. You will maintain inventories, perform cycle counting, handle material issues, and document changes while ensuring safety and housekeeping standards.

The role requires 2-4 years in materials/inventory management, an associate degree in a related field, and APICS certification.

Qualifications

2-4 years of relevant work experience in materials/inventory management required.
2 Year / Associate Degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business Administration or related field of study or equivalent years of job experience required.
APICS Certification is preferred or required.

Responsibilities

Coordinate with plant scheduling, purchasing, and production supervision to identify and resolve material issues preventing customer on-time delivery.
Ensure availability of parts and raw materials to manufacturing areas to prevent production delays.
Lead cycle counting activities and document changes to processes and procedures.
Coordinate engineering change notices and item activity notices to ensure smooth model and component changeovers.
Oversee storage locations and ensure safety and housekeeping standards.
Prepare and deliver shop floor paperwork for warehouse and inventory management.
