Job summary

MBI in Cobalt, TN is seeking a Warehouse Associate to receive, stock, pick and distribute parts and materials used in manufacturing. You will verify inventory through cycle counts, maintain a clean and safe workplace, and work with team to meet daily goals.

Responsibilities include labeling and organizing inventory, storing items securely, operating forklift, pallet picker and related equipment, delivering parts to internal departments, and recording transactions with standard office tools.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work accurately, quickly, efficiently, and safely.
• Must follow instructions and work well with others.
• Must operate forklift, pallet picker and other equipment safely.
• Must read, write, and communicate in English.
• Must use basic math and measurement tools.

Responsibilities

• Receives, puts-away, stores and issues parts and other materials.
• Labels and maintains organized inventory with accurate records.
• Puts-away items in correct locations and safeguards from damage.
• Participates in cycle counting and year-end inventory counts.
• Operates forklift, pallet picker, and other equipment as required.
• Delivers parts to internal departments and loads/unloads shipments.
• Uses office tools to prepare packing lists and shipping documents.
