Job summary

Kelly Services in Columbus, OH is seeking a Material Handler on the west side to ensure accurate handling, storage, and distribution of inventory. You will pull orders, load/unload, enter inventory data, and maintain a safe, organized warehouse environment.

Responsibilities include unloading from vendor trucks, stocking materials, labeling, moving items to shop for modification, assembling and packaging orders, and preparing shipments with proper documentation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to learn federal, state, and health and safety regulations.
• Basic computer and typing proficiency.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations and business processes.
• Basic math and reading comprehension skills.

Responsibilities

• Unload materials and inspect items to meet quality standards.
• Stock and transfer materials to designated locations per criteria.
• Label materials with identifying information.
• Assist movement of materials to and from the shop for modifications.
• Assemble and package orders per customer requirements.
• Prepare orders for delivery; load materials using forklifts or cranes.
• Prepare shipment documentation (UPS, LTL, SH, Air).
• Follow safety policies and maintain OSHA-compliant warehouse.
• Keep warehouse clean and organized; report hazards.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
• Take care for personal safety and others; report injuries promptly.
