Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in material handling or warehouse in manufacturing preferred.
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.

• Experience operating forklifts or pallet jacks is a plus.
• Willingness to learn and adhere to safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Receive, count, and verify materials from SMD Stores, Main Stores, and the Copper Department; store in designated locations.
• Record all received materials and maintain documentation; file sign-off records for future reference.
• Report shortages or discrepancies to the Lead Operator and the issuing department.
• Regularly check material racks and bins to ensure adequate inventory for production needs.
• Perform daily checks on copper extrusion stock to avoid production downtime.
• Submit requests via internal systems or the SMD database for additional parts as directed by the Lead Operator.
• Handle materials safely to prevent damage and preserve quality during movement and storage.
