Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. is seeking a Material Handler in Milwaukie, Oregon to coordinate and track work-in-progress inventory and move parts between departments.

Responsibilities include updating the tracking system, issuing parts to production, and supporting cycle counts and reporting. The role requires experience on manufacturing floors, data entry and inventory control skills, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing floor experience or material handling experience preferred.
• Previous data entry and inventory control experience preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Ability to safely lift and/or maneuver objects weighing 30 to 75 pounds and work in challenging conditions.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, track and document movement of work-in-progress inventory; transport parts between departments.
• Move parts within process span time and update inventory systems.
• Complete daily cycle counts and maintain accurate records and reports.
• Maintain clean, safe work areas and support safety practices.
