Job summary

Epiroc is hiring a Material Handler for our Milwaukie, Oregon facility. The role focuses on accurate order fulfillment, packaging, and shipment preparation in a fast-paced environment. You will operate forklifts and coordinate with carriers, maintaining inventory records and ensuring timely deliveries.

Required are a high school diploma, experience in shipping/logistics, and forklift operation certification. Onsite work with a competitive hourly pay range and sign-on/referral bonuses.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in shipping, receiving, or logistics (preferably in a manufacturing setting).
• Must be certified or willing to be trained and certified in forklift operation.
• Demonstrates excellent customer service abilities and a collaborative mindset.
• Thrives in team-oriented environments and actively contributes to internal initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, pack, and process outgoing shipments according to company and customer requirements.
• Verify shipment contents against orders and documentation to ensure accuracy.
• Label and document materials for transport (e.g., bills of lading, shipping orders).
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
• Coordinate with carriers for timely pickups and deliveries.
• Maintain inventory records and update shipping logs.
• Assist with general warehouse duties, including organizing storage areas and loading/unloading trucks.
