Qualifications

• Less than 1 year experience in packing/shipping.
• Basic mechanical aptitude.
• Forklift operator certification or ability to become certified.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities within the various work areas as part of a team.
• Communicate handling issues and take direction from the department supervisor daily.
• Maintain inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials in stock and recording locations.
• Locate materials by pulling and verifying against production orders.
• Deliver and open materials to maintain in-process inventory at work centers.
• Document materials disposition by recording units delivered and locations.
• Perform pre-use inspections of material-handling equipment.
• Conduct cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Handle nonconforming material processes including device master records (DMRs) and hold tags.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
