Job summary

Valmont Industries, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Operator to support the Small Parts department. You will handle, move, and document materials in a manufacturing setting to ensure efficient production flow and inventory accuracy using computers, handheld devices, and IFS.

You will respond to radio requests, inspect loads for damage, and assist in other departments as needed. This role requires attention to safety, the ability to work outdoors, and daily forklift inspections.

Qualifications

• Proficient with computers and data entry in systems.
• Strong attention to detail in material handling and paperwork.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and wear PPE.
• Clear communication with coworkers and supervision.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Move and document materials to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Store and label inventory for accuracy.
• Interpret production and shipping orders for proper handling.
• Perform cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Enter data and generate required reports.
• Operate forklift and inspect daily for safety and function.
• Work under supervision and maintain housekeeping.
