Job summary

Valmont Industries in Jasper, TN seeks a Warehouse Operator (Day Shift) to support the Small Parts department. You will move, document, and label materials, interpret orders, and help maintain inventory accuracy in a manufacturing setting using computers, IFS, and Zebra scanners.

Ideal candidates have forklift experience, can lift up to 50 lbs, spend most of the day standing, and commit to safety procedures; training to obtain a Valmont forklift license will be provided.

Qualifications

• Proficient with computers to enter data and run reports.
• Experience operating a forklift in a manufacturing/outdoor environment.
• Ability to read and interpret bills of material and instructions.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk most of the day.

Responsibilities

• Move and document materials to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Store and label physical steel inventory to maintain accuracy.
• Interpret production and shipping orders to ensure proper material handling.
• Perform inventory cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Enter data into IFS and operate Zebra handhelds and scanners.
• Maintain safety procedures and participate in safety practices.
