Job summary

National Carwash Solutions is seeking an Inventory Coordinator in Grimes, IA to manage warehouse inventory, shipping and receiving. You will support cycle counts, post transactions, label and package items, and ensure correct locations and safety standards.

The role requires attention to detail, basic data entry, and the ability to work with various teams. Overtime may be required, and a forklift or scanner background is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year of experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferred.
• MRP system and scanner experience, preferred.
• Experience with data entry and general use of computer systems.
• Extreme attention to detail.
• Ability to safely operate various hand and power tools.
• Ability to interact well with customers, vendors, and fellow employees.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to work assigned hours plus overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform cycle counts daily for materials such as raw materials, finished goods, packaging materials, and non-conforming materials.
• Post transactions accurately when moving products.
• Package and label items correctly, safely, and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Ensure materials in the warehouse and work cell areas are in the correct location and packaged appropriately.
• Inspect products for defects or damage; report damage or missing inventory to the inventory control specialist or management team.
• Assist operations, engineering, sales, and customer service in locating materials and ensure parts are transacted properly when moved.
• Operate forklift, pallet jack, or other equipment as needed.
• Other general warehouse duties as assigned.
• Assist with the organization and good housekeeping of the NCS facility (6S Practices).
• Comply with all applicable OSHA, EPA, DOT, local regulatory laws, and company safety policies.
• Management reserves the discretion to add or change the duties of this position at any time.
