Job summary

National Carwash Solutions is the NA’s largest equipment, service, and cleaning solutions provider in the car wash industry, seeking a Warehouse Associate in Des Moines, IA. Join a world-class team backed by a large service network and growth opportunities.

You will perform cycle counts, post transactions, label and organize materials, operate forklift, and support operations, engineering, sales, and service teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year of manufacturing experience (preferred).
• Experience with MRP systems and scanner usage (preferred).
• Experience with data entry and general computer systems use.
• Extreme attention to detail.
• Ability to safely operate various hand and power tools.
• Ability to interact well with customers, vendors, and fellow employees.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to work assigned hours plus overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform cycle counts daily for raw materials, finished goods, packaging materials, and non-conforming materials.
• Accurately post transactions when moving products.
• Package and label items correctly, safely, and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Maintain proper order of materials in the warehouse and work cell areas.
• Inspect products for defects or damage and report to the inventory control specialist or management team.
• Assist operations, engineering, sales, and customer service in locating materials and ensuring parts are transacted properly when moved.
• Operate forklift, pallet jack, or other equipment as needed.
• Perform other general warehouse duties as assigned.
• Organize and maintain good housekeeping of the NCS facility (6S practices).
• Comply with all applicable OSHA, EPA, DOT, local regulatory laws and company safety policies.
