Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Orlando is seeking an Inventory & Materials Assistant Sr Specialist to ensure seamless material flow and accurate inventory control at the AFC Depot.

You will manage packaging, handling, storage, transportation coordination, and inventory reporting while maintaining compliance with security clearances and warehouse standards. This role emphasizes teamwork, attention to detail, and continuous process improvement in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Experience using a forklift and/or pallet stacker.
• Prior warehousing experience.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
• Basic proficiency in MS Office applications (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint).
• Able to work effectively in a team environment.
• Must be able to obtain an Interim Secret clearance within 30 days of employment, and be able to obtain a Secret Clearance within the first 90 days of employment.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license
• Ability to pass a post‑offer, pre‑employment physical
• Ability to pass a transportation examination
• Ability to operate a box truck with a gross vehicle weight up to 26,000 lbs. (non‑CDL) with 40 lbs lift gate.

You will be the Inventory & Materials Assistant Sr Specialist for the Logistics Support Team. Our team is responsible for packaging, handling, storage, transportation, receiving, and inventory management supporting the Apache Fire Control (AFC) Depot Support Facility.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Inventory & Materials Assistant Sr Specialist you will be responsible for ensuring seamless material flow and accurate inventory control at the Orlando depot.

Your Responsibilities Will Include, But Are Not Limited To

• Manage packaging, handling, and storage of all materials.
• Coordinate transportation and receiving of supplies.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and generate regular reports.

Pay Information

Full‑Time Salary Range: $51300.00 - $95300.00
