Lockheed Martin Beale AFB, California is seeking an Inventory/Material Supply Technician for the U-2 depot maintenance teams. You will handle parts, tools and supply functions, ensuring accurate records and safe storage following Lockheed Martin procedures and site rules.

Key duties include compiling records, maintaining WIP, supporting calibration and troubleshooting, and applying specialized knowledge to solve complex problems. This on-site, full-time role requires U.S.

Qualifications

Updated Rate Range For This Position For This Location: $32.00 - $39.00

What You Will Be Doing

You will be the Lockheed Martin AFS, U-2 Inventory/Material Supply Technician for the Depot Level Maintenance Teams, responsible for Parts, tools and supply functions within scope of the U-2 Aircraft stationed at Beale AFB, California.

• Compiles records concerned with quantity, cost, and type of material received, in stock, or issued. Requisitions needed supplies; verifies material received to determine irregularities in order; inspects articles and rejects defective ones. Prepares inventory records and reports and investigates discrepancies in stock counts.
• Establish and Maintain (WIP) Work In Progress parts and supply. Store components in a safe and organized designed in accordance with Lockheed Martin and Local Procedures. Overall site focal point for tools Hazardous Chemicals and Bench stock items and all inventory Management.
• Performs nonstandard and complex tasks using advanced techniques and in-depth discipline knowledge. Analyzes requirements for special projects, recommends methods and processes, conducts research, and assists in investigational studies. Supports the design and development of new or modified equipment, methods, or systems for enhanced performance. Evaluates and resolves calibration and troubleshooting issues.
• Demonstrates expertise in specialized functions, encompassing a comprehensive understanding of general and technical aspects of the job. Applies knowledge to solve complex problems and handle challenging situations

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN – This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start. Candidate must have strong communications and interpersonal skills. Must read, write and speak English fluently.

Physical Requirements

This position may include certain required health screenings and immunizations. Position may also require extended work hours. Regularly required to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive movements, work overhead, use hands to grasp, handle, and/or feel, reach with hands and arms. Basic Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of USAF/Aircraft Parts supply and or Aircraft Experience.
• Equipment operation: Proficiency in using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely
• Attention to detail: Ability to inspect materials for damage, maintain accurate inventory records, and follow instructions precisely
• Basic inventory skills: inventory tracking, counting, and reporting.
• Organizational skills: To keep storage areas and workspaces clean and efficient
• Safety awareness: Knowledge of OSHA or facility safety protocols to prevent accidents

Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

The base range for this position in California is?$24.77 - $42.53.

The wage rate?and benefits summary is a general guideline and is governed by the applicable contract when extending an offer.
