Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Material Handler to support manufacturing by delivering materials and maintaining inventory accuracy. You will operate material handling equipment, stage jobs per production schedules, and work with the ERP system to track materials and locations.

The role emphasizes safe operations, quality control, and continuous attention to inventory integrity, with shift starting at 7:00 AM and a 3:30 PM finish, in a high-demand, physical environment.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED plus 6 months or more related experience or training.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and operation manuals.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials to support manufacturing with priority on inventory control.
• Maintain organized warehouse with correct part numbers, pull and stage jobs per schedule.
• Operate and reference ERP system for inventory transactions and location counts.
• Perform inventory discrepancy research by transaction history and reports.
• Follow safety rules and wear PPE as required and work beyond 40 hours as needed.
