Job summary

Ritter Lumber in the United States is seeking an Inventory Manager to lead inventory operations across the retail store and lumber yard, focusing on accuracy and adherence to standards. The role supervises will-call and receiving teams, and partners with the TRB Inventory Control Manager to reflect corporate expectations.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, operational discipline, and deep knowledge of inventory processes within the lumber and building materials industry.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years in inventory management, preferably in lumber/building materials.
• Strong leadership, organizational and communication skills.
• In-depth understanding of inventory control processes, receiving procedures and tagging systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise will-call and receiving teams with accountability for performance and standards.
• Implement and enforce inventory control including cycle counts and shrink reduction.
• Oversee receiving activities and ensure accurate intake and documentation.
