Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking an Inventory Manager I at the Warner Robins site to lead a team of expeditors responsible for inventory control and distribution. You will oversee receipt, stocking, issuing, and movement of parts to repair and production lines, ensuring compliance and accuracy.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience, or 9 years in lieu of a degree, plus DoD clearance eligibility and strong leadership. The position includes salary and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities in a supervisory role.
• Experience in inventory control, stock transfer, parts kitting, and movement of items through the supply chain.
• Ability to manage departmental labor budgets and provide monthly labor forecasts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• U.S. citizen with ability to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor inventory accuracy and cycle counting to maintain system integrity.
• Coordinate material movement across warehouses and inventory control points to support repair and production.
• Track and report inventory KPIs and drive improvement plans.
• Train and mentor warehouse personnel on material control disciplines.
• Fulfill depot parts requests including kitting and SRU/LRU support.
• Support ERP tools and SAP S/4HANA outputs to align material availability with programs.
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional IPT to meet unit commitments.
• Advise management on material status and risks to ensure resources are available.
