Job summary

Aramark in Orlando is seeking an experienced warehouse operations lead to drive efficiency in receiving, storage, and distribution. You will guide staff, manage purchasing, and ensure inventory accuracy with strong focus on safety and cost control.

The role requires coordinating with Finance for variances, maintaining par levels, and implementing FIFO and temperature controls to meet client needs. A proactive approach to continuous improvement is essential.

Responsibilities

• Participate in budget process to achieve financial objectives by identifying opportunities and developing action plans.
• Manage receiving, warehousing, and distribution per SOPs by organizing, motivating, and guiding warehouse staff.
• Procure product by setting a purchasing schedule, coordinating with vendors, and using the warehouse tool to create POs.
• Maintain warehouse system to reflect accurate par levels, inventory, and product master setup.
• Enforce FIFO and food safety requirements, manage date codes, and ensure temperature compliance.
• Control inventory levels and costs by weekly counts and collaborating with Finance to resolve variances.
• Analyze trends to optimize inventory, days-on-hand, and client fill-rate metrics.
• Safeguard inventory by implementing security procedures and maintaining layout and slotting.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness, and organization; support 25% operations improvement with management teams.
• Direct inbound/outbound inventories to ensure efficient storage and utilization; track and order to fulfill client needs.
• Communicate with managers and vendors about voids, delays, or changes to meet client demand.

Job description

• Achieve financial objectives by participating in budget process managing key metrics, identifyingopportunities, and developing action plans for improvement.
• Manages receiving, warehousing, and distribution per the standard operating procedures byorganizing, motivating, and encouraging warehouse staff.
• Procures product by setting a purchasing schedule, coordinating with vendors, and utilizing thewarehouse ordering tool to create purchase orders.
• Maintains the warehouse system to reflect accurate par levels of product, inventory level andproper product master set-up.
• Enforces food safety requirements through First-in, First-out (FIFO) product rotation, managingdate codes, and ensuring temperature requirements are met.
• Controls inventory levels and product cost by coordinating/conducting weekly physical countsand working closely with Finance Manager to resolve inventory overages and shortages.
• Optimizes inventory by managing, analyzing trends, and improving product days-on-hand, clientfill rate metrics, and other key product metrics.
• Safegaurds warehouse inventory by establishing and monitoring security procedures.
• Maintains warehouse layout and slotting both physically and systematically
• Ensure warehouse remains clean and organized and all safety requirements are adhered to andmanaged.
• Works closely with location management team and regional support team to continuously 25%improve the operations.
• Participates and fulfills objectives and initiatives from Headquarters
• Performs other warehouse, administrative and/or operations duties as required. Directs in-bound and out-bound inventories of merchandise, equipment and supplies to ensure efficient storage and utilization of product. Tracks, reconciles, and orders product inventories for the Market Center to effectively manage out-of-stocks, out-of-date product and weeks-on-hand to fulfill client needs.
• Communicates with affected managers and front line personnel regarding any voids, delays or other product changes that may affect a client delivery as well as to discuss alternative product needs where required to meet client demand. Communicates with vendors as needed to ensure timely delivery ofordered product and equipment. 15%
• Manages warehouse workforce that receives, stocks, rotates and pulls product and ensures that work iscompleted using safe practices. Participates in hiring process for warehouse team. Responsible for the training, coaching and performance management of each member of the team. 20%
• Monitors workflow and ensure proper inventories are pulled for daily routes. Supervises the completionof all daily warehouse work. Models and leads Service STARS culture and safety leadership, and all key initiatives relating to these core values, to provide a positive Market Center environment. Owns andfosters effective communication at all levels of the organization. 20%
• Maintains all business records and documentation as required to include personnel records, warehouseproduct and asset inventories, route inventory data and vendor sales, contact and pricing communication. 10%
• Performs other warehouse, administrative and/or operations duties as required.
