Job summary

6AM City, LLC seeks an Inventory Manager to lead all aspects of inventory control in a new distribution/fulfillment setup for a high-visibility tech client. You will establish processes, drive accuracy, and guide a growing team in a startup environment.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, data-driven improvements, and rapid adaptation as the operation scales and matures.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in inventory management within a warehouse, distribution, or 3PL environment.
  • Strong systems knowledge, WMS experience highly preferred.
  • Experience in startup environments or leading through change.
  • Analytical mindset with data-driven improvements.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team development experience.
  • Ability to move quickly and adapt in a fast-changing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Own and oversee all inventory control functions within a new distribution/fulfillment environment.
  • Establish and refine inventory processes, systems, and reporting from the ground up.
  • Drive inventory accuracy, cycle-count programs, and root cause analysis.
  • Partner cross-functionally with operations, systems, and client stakeholders.
  • Lead and develop inventory team members while building a high-performance culture.
  • Support change management initiatives as systems evolve rapidly.
  • Ensure compliance with operational standards, KPIs, and client expectations.
