Job summary

District Cannabis LLC is seeking a Fulfillment & Inventory Manager to lead Inventory Specialists and manage all logistics for finished goods and outbound orders. You will oversee ERP system operations and ensure seamless integration across teams.

The role emphasizes managing vaults, audits, and cross-functional coordination with sales and operations to drive efficiency and accuracy in inventory records.

Qualifications

  • At least 21 years of age.
  • Background check required (Federal and State).
  • High school diploma/GED.
  • Minimum 5 years of management experience.
  • Excellent leadership skills, integrity and business acumen.
  • At least 3 years of industry experience, preferably inventory.
  • At least 2 years of METRC experience.
  • At least 2 years of data entry experience.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a clean, safe working environment and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
  • Supervise and guide inventory team to meet goals.
  • Conduct daily team meetings to align priorities.
  • Oversee vaults and storage areas for finished goods.
  • Review inbound/outbound orders for accuracy and compliance.
  • Audit METRC package transactions for data accuracy.
  • Audit Apex to METRC for inventory accuracy.
  • Conduct weekly inventory reviews and organize finished goods vaults.
  • Ensure proficiency in METRC transactions andERP integration.
  • Maintain integration between METRC, Apex, and ERP systems.
  • Enter facility needs for soft goods into the ordering platform.
  • Coordinate invoice and manifest adjustments with Inventory Specialist, sales, and GM Ops.
  • Oversee count verification and end-of-month soft goods inventory.

Fulfillment & Inventory Manager

As the Fulfillment & Inventory Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing the Inventory Specialists and Associates. You will oversee all logistics related to finished goods and outbound orders while ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of MCP Processing's ERP system. Your role is essential in streamlining business operations, enhancing organizational efficiency, and ensuring seamless ERP system integration across teams.


Your role in caring for our company:


The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:


Department Management & Execution



  • Maintain a clean, safe working environment, ensuring adherence to all safety protocols and compliance regulations.

  • Supervise and guide the inventory team to meet operational goals.

  • Conduct daily team meetings to align the inventory team on priority tasks and objectives.

  • Oversee the cleanliness and organization of vaults and storage areas, ensuring proper handling of finished goods.

  • Review all inbound and outbound orders before dispatch or receipt to ensure accuracy and compliance.

  • Perform regular audits on METRC package transactions, verifying accurate data.

  • Audit Apex to METRC to ensure proper product availability and accuracy in inventory records.

  • Conduct weekly reviews of inventory to ensure proper location and categorization of all finished goods.

  • Maintain and organize finished goods vaults for flower and concentrate products.

  • Ensure proficiency in METRC transactions and support high-level activities related to inventory management.

  • Regularly update and maintain the integration between METRC, Apex, and ERP systems.

  • Enter facility needs for soft goods into the order platform, ensuring timely procurement.

  • Coordinate adjustments to invoices and manifests in partnership with the Inventory Specialist, sales team, and General Manager of Operations.

  • Oversee the count verification process of incoming goods to ensure inventory accuracy.

  • Supervise end-of-month soft goods inventory counts and ensure they are executed correctly.


ERP System Maintenance & Support:



  • Perform regular audits reconciling inventory across Acumatica and METRC to maintain system accuracy.

  • Oversee month-end and year-end audits and reconciliations.

  • Support team members in training on the daily use of Acumatica, ensuring smooth adoption of the ERP system.

  • Handle all Acumatica transactions across various departments to support business operations.

  • Oversee the daily operations of the ERP system, ensuring its reliability and performance.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, ensuring data integrity and seamless user experience.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and implement ERP system improvements and process optimizations.

  • Collaborate with functional teams to develop and refine Bills of Materials (BOMs) for product lines.

  • Identify automation opportunities and implement process improvements using the ERP system to increase operational efficiency.

  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies within the ERP system's scope.


Team Leadership & Performance Analytics



  • Foster a culture of professionalism, guiding teams to achieve optimal results.

  • Understand and own every aspect of the teams performance; set targets, drive execution, and hold the team accountable for both individual and team results.

  • Collaborate effectively with the Human Resources Department and appropriate partners to implement and manage the company's policies and procedures.

  • Partner with the Human Resources Department to monitor staff performance, provide timely feedback, along with development goals, assign accountabilities, set objectives, establish priorities, conduct annual performance evaluations, and administer salary adjustments.

  • Retain and develop top performers by understanding individual's motivations and providing actionable feedback.

  • Addresses low performance quickly, compassionately, and in alignment with company policies.

  • Manage employee's scheduling, basic time off requests, performance reviews, etc.

Qualifications we ask you to have:



  • For legal reasons, all employees need to be at least 21 years of age.

  • You will be asked to pass a Federal and State criminal history background check.

  • We ask that you have at least a high school diploma/GED.

  • We ask that you have a minimum of five (5) years of management experience.

  • We ask that you have excellent leadership skills, with steadfast resolve, personal integrity, and business acumen.

  • We ask that you have at least three (3) years of industry experience, preferably inventory experience.

  • We ask that you have at least two (2) years of METRC experience.

  • We ask that you have at least two (2) years of data entry experience.


Addition skills which will help you excel in your role:



  • Comfortable with heights (up to 12 feet).

  • Strong attention to detail, our plants are very delicate throughout their lifecycle!

  • Ability to foster collaboration, be a team player, though also independent and self-motivated.

  • Coachable and can take full ownership of personal development, regularly soliciting feedback from teammates including those supervising, colleagues, and supervisor/s.

  • Comply with all HR policies including confidentiality and non-disclosure.

  • We ask that you do not have allergies to plant materials or nitrile gloves; this position requires daily exposure to cannabis plants and nitrile gloves.


Work Schedule/Location:



  • On-site 5 days a week.

  • This position requires the ability to work in a cannabis growing facility, there will be strong odors, bright lights, and various noises throughout the workday.

  • This position will require PPE to be worn throughout the workday to include scrubs, masks, gloves, and hairnets while working with the plants. DCM will provide scrubs, gloves, and hair nets to all employees.
