  • Communication with vendors, customers, and internal stakeholders to provide responsive customer service and ensure timely fulfillment of supply and inventory requirements.

Job description

This position is located in the United States Fire Administration in Emmitsburg, Maryland.

Current Federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the next lower grade or equivalent grade band in the Federal service.

To qualify for this position at the GS-7 level, you must possess one full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-5 level in the Federal government, which has equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position.

Experience may be obtained in the federal government, a state or local government, or private sector, and must demonstrate the following:

  • Supporting inventory and supply management operations, including assisting with the distribution and redistribution of stock within the supply system.
  • Assisting in researching procurement data to support purchasing activities and supply decisions.
  • Supporting the analysis, investigation, and resolution of inventory discrepancies by reviewing records, comparing data, and coordinating corrective actions.
  • Communicating and coordinating with vendors, customers, and internal stakeholders to provide responsive customer service, support procurement activities, and ensure timely fulfillment of supply and inventory requirements.
