Job summary

L3Harris Technologies, Inc. is seeking an Associate Manager Inventory Management in Norfolk, VA to oversee the stockrooms, warehousing operations, and government property administration.

The role ensures accurate inventory, on-time kit availability, and compliance with contracts and regulations. The position emphasizes leadership of a team, process improvements, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to optimize shipping, receiving, and inventory accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of related experience.
• Graduate degree with 4+ years of related experience.
• In lieu of a degree, 10+ years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the stockrooms in line with company procedures, safety requirements, and operations needs.
• Own inventory accuracy through cycle counts, transaction discipline, variance investigations and reconciliation.
• Oversee kitting to ensure timely, accurate material pulling against manufacturing work orders.
• Direct shipping and receiving activities with documentation accuracy and packaging compliance.
• Administer government property processes to meet contractual obligations and audit requirements.
• Develop and implement process improvements to strengthen inventory accuracy and audit readiness.
• Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and drive improvements.
• Lead, coach, and develop employees including performance management.
• Ensure compliance with laws, ISO requirements, and safety standards.
• Support audits, reporting, and corrective actions related to inventory and government property.
