Cardinal Health is seeking an Inventory Management Analyst at our Omaha facility. You will support materials handling, distribution, and inventory optimization across the Cardinal Health network, ensuring product availability and strong vendor relations.
The role focuses on forecasting, procurement, backorder handling, and customer service while leveraging WaveMark and Premier to maintain accurate records and timely updates for OR and clinical supplies.
Onsite at Nebraska Medicine's Omaha Hospital campus; not a remote position. Shift: Monday‑Friday from 7:30am to 4:00pm Pay rate: $23.00 per hour Bonus eligible: No

What Inventory Management contributes to Cardinal Health Operations is responsible for materials handling and product distribution in a distribution or manufacturing environment.
Includes warehousing and fulfillment of materials and products, transportation, inventory management as well as demand, supply and manufacturing planning.
Job Summary The Analyst, Inventory Management plays an integral role in service and inventory optimization across Cardinal Health’s distribution network.
This job is responsible for meeting desired inventory levels, vendor management activities and the handling of backorders and other supply related activities. The Analyst, Inventory Management is also responsible for maintaining a high level of customer service through the management of forecasts, procurement activity, customer demand and inventory levels.
This job provides support to supply chain specific projects and initiatives to drive process improvement. The Analyst, Inventory Management develops strong relationship with suppliers to aid in the resolution of major operational issues.
