Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Coordinator Inventory Management to track inventory accuracy, process returns and recalls, and ensure orders are filled on time. You will work cross-functionally to monitor financial impacts and maintain compliance.

Responsibilities include resolving count variances, moving inventory, handling returns, and producing final reports for Finance. This role requires proficient computer use and strong problem-solving in a distribution setting.

Qualifications

  • Good written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office preferred
  • 1-2 years of operations experience preferred
  • High school degree or GED preferred
  • Drive material handling equipment as required by job duty. Example equipment in the facility includes order picker (cherry picker), forklift, reach truck, turret truck, pallet jack, and walkie rider.
  • Previous Inventory experience desired
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable with extensive computer use
  • Ability to operate quickly and accurately in a distribution environment

Responsibilities

  • Researches and resolves count variances to ensure accurate inventory records and identify potential areas of improvement in the process.
  • Moves inventory locations as needed to maintain efficient and compliant operations.
  • Manages the daily returns process both physically in the warehouse and in CRM.
  • Reviews, processes and intervenes on all recall notices for products.
  • Transfers products to Emergency Drug Response Program (EDRP) sites in Distrack and ships to sites using Varsity.
  • Tracks and reports scrap levels in order to compile month-end Scrap, Morgue, and Variance reports.
  • Provides Finance a final report.
  • Identifies needs and ships proper return packaging to customers in order for a successful return of product.
  • Handles expired product return from vendors and creates Debit Memos using Distrack and MIF Toolbars.

Pay rate: $20.10 per hour Bonus eligible: No

Shift hours will be: 8:00am-4:30pm (or until completion) Monday-Friday. Must be flexible to work overtime as necessary due to business needs.

What Inventory Management contributes to Cardinal Health Operations is responsible for materials handling and product distribution in a distribution or manufacturing environment. Includes warehousing and fulfillment of materials and products, transportation, inventory management as well as demand, supply and manufacturing planning.

Inventory Management is accountable for the design and execution of demand planning and customer forecasting systems, supply planning, product deployment and expediting processes, and the development and implementation of a stocking optimization model to minimize costs and inventory while delivering on service requirements.

Job Summary

The Coordinator Inventory Management is responsible for tracking and managing inventory accuracy of products.
