Job summary

CarMax in Pleasanton, CA is seeking a Flow Inventory Associate to maintain vehicle inventory, manage receiving/shipping, lot upkeep, merchandising, and photo uploads for car listings. You will help ensure every car meets CarMax’s quality standards while supporting a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to read, interpret, and transcribe data for inventory records.
• Completion of Inventory Associate workstation certifications and trainings.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory by following CarMax inventory processes.
• Receive and secure vehicles shipped to CarMax and prepare title packets for transfers.
• Perform lot maintenance and merchandising, ensuring display areas are clean and organized.
• Prep vehicles for customer returns and loaners, including washing and vacuuming.
• Execute photo station process for carmax.com listings.
• Drive vehicles on and off the lot for repairs, storage, and auction support.
• Follow EH&S requirements and maintain a clean and orderly work area.
