Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Distribution Center material handler to perform inbound/outbound processing, staging, picking, packing, and shipment preparation in our Des Moines distribution center.

You will use RF scanners, WMS, and voice-picking tools to maintain inventory accuracy, follow safety standards, and support vendor returns, recalls, and warranty merchandise while contributing to productivity and quality.

Qualifications

• Must be able to accurately match numerical and alphabetical information.
• Follow established operational, safety, and quality procedures.
• Maintain a safe work environment including lifting and handling merchandise.
• Willingness to learn warehouse systems, RF technology, and operational processes.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, inspect, sort, stock, pick, pack, stage, and ship merchandise accurately and efficiently.
• Match item numbers, quantities, manifests, freight bills, and shipping documentation with physical merchandise.
• Process inbound shipments, outbound orders, returns, acquisitions inventory, and vendor returns according to policy.
• Operate RF scanners, handheld devices, voice-picking systems, WMS, and other warehouse technology as required.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through scanning, labeling, auditing, staging, and discrepancy resolution.
