AVT Simulation in Orlando is seeking a Materials & Logistics Specialist to support daily warehouse operations, ensuring accurate receipt, storage, movement, and shipping of materials and products. You will help maintain inventory accuracy and support production through work order kitting in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires detail-oriented individuals with experience in ERP/MRP systems, shipping, and inventory control, plus forklift certification or the ability to obtain it.

Qualifications

• Experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse operations and inventory control.
• Experience transacting receipts, issuances, and transfers in an ERP/MRP Inventory Management system such as SAP or Deltek Costpoint.
• Ability to read pick lists, work orders, packing slips, shipping documents, and inventory reports.
• Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office applications.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Receive incoming materials, verify quantities and condition against packing slips and PO's.
• Perform shipping functions including packaging, labeling, documentation, and carrier coordination.
• Maintain accurate inventory records through ERP/MRP systems and physical counts.
• Conduct cycle counts and periodic physical inventories.
• Pull, stage, and kit materials for production work orders.
• Ensure proper storage, handling and identification of inventory.
• Track material movement transactions in ERP/MRP or inventory systems.
• Support material replenishment and monitor stock levels.
• Coordinate with purchasing, production, quality, and program teams to resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain warehouse organization and safety compliance.
• Operate material handling equipment as required.
• Assist with receiving inspections and segregation of non-conforming material.
• Ensure compliance with procedures and quality standards.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives in warehouse/inventory operations.
• Maintain complete inventory of materials.
