Responsibilities

• Compiles and maintains inventory records including quantity, cost, and type.
• Records receipt or disbursement and computes balances.
• Compares digital and physical counts and investigates discrepancies.
• Prepares inventory reports and suggests handling of defective items.
• Stocks, organizes, and issues materials as needed.
• Loads/unloads and moves materials within the plant or yard.
• Reads work orders to determine materials to move.
• Opens containers safely with hand tools.
• Transports materials using hand trucks or forklifts.
