The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and reliability in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. You will work with stand‑up or sit‑down forklifts, maintain documentation, and support shipping/receiving processes.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a manufacturing facility, distribution center, or warehouse environment.
• Solid knowledge of parts systems, warehouse procedures, and inventory operations.
• Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Proven experience operating stand‑up and/or sit‑down forklifts.

Responsibilities

• Compiles and maintains a database of inventory records including quantity, cost, and type of materials, equipment, merchandise, or supplies.
• Records the receipt or disbursement of inventory items and accurately computes balances.
• Compares digital inventory records against physical counts and thoroughly investigates any inaccuracies.
• Prepares inventory reports and recommends options for handling defective or unusable items.
• Stocks, organizes, and issues materials or merchandise as needed.
• Loads, unloads, and moves materials within or near the plant, yard, or work site.
• Reads work orders or follows oral instructions to determine which materials or containers need to be moved.
• Opens containers safely using steel cutters, crowbars, clawhammers, or other hand tools.
• Conveys materials to and from storage or work sites to designated areas using hand trucks, stand‑up forklifts, or sit‑down forklifts.
