Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Logistics Manager (Inventory) in Columbia, SC to oversee inventory operations and P&L responsibilities within the Supply Chain Solutions division.

The role includes managing salaried and hourly staff, coordinating with senior management and customers, and ensuring effective payroll and invoicing processes. The position requires strong leadership, analytical abilities, and excellent organizational skills; bilingual English/French is a plus for Quebec locations.

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics or related field preferred.
• Three+ years in supply chain, logistics, warehouse or related field.
• Two+ years of direct reports management experience.
• Strong knowledge of transportation/warehouse logistics operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee payroll for salaried and hourly staff.
• Analyze weekly/monthly P&L to determine profitability and report to management.
• Manage accounts payable, vendor quotes, and customer invoicing.
• Lead safety meetings and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Collaborate with management and customers to meet needs and expectations.
