Job summary

EFE Laboratories Inc. seeks an Inventory Specialist to oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring accurate inventory tracking and efficient movement of materials.

You will collaborate with production, purchasing, and logistics to maintain a smooth supply chain, including receiving, storage, and distribution of materials and equipment. The role requires strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills, with experience in ERP/MRP systems and Kanban processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; additional supply chain education preferred.
• Minimum 2 years in warehouse or inventory management in manufacturing.
• Experience with electronics/contract manufacturing is a plus.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP/Kanban and related software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee warehousing activities and coordinate with production, purchasing, and other departments.
• Supervise receipt, storage, and distribution of materials and equipment.
• Assign orders to kitting, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion.
• Develop and implement storage systems for space optimization and efficiency.
• Perform regular inventory audits and coordinate physical inventories.
• Disposit non-conforming material promptly and coordinate disposition as needed.
• Operate forklift as required for material handling.
• Plan and schedule shipments with reliable transportation services.
• Maintain inventory levels and use software to track stock and reorder needs.
• Audit and reorder supplies to sustain stock levels.
