Job summary

Corewell Health is seeking a Distribution and Receiving team member at Lakeland Hospital St Joseph in Michigan to support inventory control and delivery of supplies across units.

You will respond to requisitions, maintain stock levels, use handheld devices to record transactions, and assemble orders for delivery while adhering to safety and quality standards. The role requires physical stamina and detail orientation and offers full-time hours.

Qualifications

• Required High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of orientation and introductory period. Preferred.
• Supply chain/material management or related experience Preferred.
• CRT-HI-LO Certification - UNKNOWN Unknown Big Rapids, Grand Rapids, Reed City 30 Days preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responds to incoming requisitions from various customers by dispensing inventory supplies and equipment in a timely manner.
• Maintains inventory levels of supplies, materials, equipment and/or linens; rotates stock and keeps areas neat.
• Uses a handheld computer or other methods to manage inventory and input data into the main system.
• Breaks down delivery carts and assembles orders for delivery to requesting units.
• Delivers products and equipment to requested locations following safety guidelines.
• Loads/unloads and secures cargo; verifies deliveries against purchase orders and notes discrepancies.
