Job summary

Corewell Health is seeking a Distribution and Receiving team member at Blodgett Hospital in Grand Rapids. The role handles inventory, linen and supply duties and coordinates with hospital staff to ensure timely availability of materials.

The position uses inventory systems, requires lifting and forklift/pallet jack use, and follows safety protocols. Full-time, day shift from 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with no weekend work.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Successful orientation and introductory period.
• Supply chain/material management or related experience.
• CRT-HI-LO Certification - UNKNOWN Unknown Big Rapids, Grand Rapids, Reed City 30 Days

Responsibilities

• Responds to requisitions received via fax, intranet, hardcopy, or phone by dispensing inventory supplies and equipment in a timely manner.
• Maintains inventory levels of supplies, materials, equipment and/or linens; rotates stock and keeps area neat and orderly.
• Uses handheld computer or other systems to manage inventory and input purchase orders/delivery tickets.
• Assembles orders for delivery, loads and secures cargo for transportation; validates against orders and reports discrepancies.
• Delivers products and/or equipment to requesting units following safety guidelines.
