Job summary

Batchline Solutions is seeking a proactive Inventory Level 2 associate for our East Coast Distribution Center in Westampton, NJ. This full-time role involves precise data entry in the Navision NAV system for material movements, staging, and production support, with an emphasis on accuracy and GMP compliance.

You will handle FEFO inventory, perform routine counts, and use RFID scanners where needed. The job requires a minimum of 6 months warehouse experience, ability to read English instructions,

Qualifications

• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Experience with RFID scanners is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with lot tags and expiration dates.
• Ability to operate equipment and maintain records.
• Capable of adapting to changing priorities and deadlines.
• Willingness to work in a refrigerated environment (-9º to 42º F) for long shifts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory balances using FEFO, counting, and movement processes.
• Complete inventory count sheets and adjustments in NAV.
• Enter and adjust inventory in NAV using RFID or computer interfaces.
• Ensure consumptions/outputs match job card or planning requirements.
• Communicate with Supervisory and Management teams via email.
• Adhere to GMPs, food safety, and safety procedures in distribution centers.
• Perform daily, weekly, monthly inventory counts as directed.
• Set up items timely and reconcile physical vs system records.
• Verify locations/products and monitor defective materials for quality.

We are currently seeking highly motivated individuals to fill the Inventory Level 2 role at our food manufacturing facility located at 90 Stemmers Lane, Westampton, NJ 08060. A level 2 Inventory Associate is the first point of contact when other departments need assistance and are responsible for the accurate and efficient data entry of all transactions in the Navision ERP system (“NAV”) for an assigned area or department. Including but not limited to movements of materials, both physically and systematically, staging, and supplying materials for production teams, and transactional accuracy of consumption and outputs of materials. All Batchline Solutions employees are also required to adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), food handling procedures, quality control, and all safety procedures and policies in our distribution centers.

What will you be doing:

• Maintain accurate inventory balances by executing proper storage, First Expired First Out (“FEFO”), movement, consumption, output, and counting processes.
• Complete accurate inventory count sheets and inventory adjustments
• Key appropriate inventory adjustments to add, modify, and/or consume inventory in the Navision ERP system (“NAV”) to ensure ongoing accuracy.
• Transact systematically in NAV with Radio Frequency Identification (“RFID”) scanner and/or Computer.
• Ensure that consumptions and outputs are accurate based on job card requirements and/or planning’s requirements (may vary based on material availability).
• Effectively communicate via email with the Supervisory and Management team.
• Understand food safety requirements (allergen control & cross contamination) and handle materials accordingly.
• Perform accurate daily, weekly, and monthly inventory counts as directed by the supervisor, and as scheduled to investigate and/or correct inventory discrepancies.
• Perform item set up procedures in a timely manner.
• Reconcile physical and system records for operations and procurement team.
• Perform location and product verification tasks as required.
• Monitor and react to issues with defective materials to ensure the proper actions are taken to prevent quality issues.
• Research in NAV on discrepancies or transactions and update Inventory adjustments after verifying discrepancies.
• Assist in inventory month end counts accurately and run cycle count programs.
• Manage and maintain inventory levels.
• Drive safety awareness such as ensuring formal risk assessments are conducted, hazards are closed, and incidents are investigated and communicated.
• Maintain a safe work environment by following, and enforcing standards, reporting any hazardous conditions to Supervisor/safety team members.
• Help implement and enforce new processes put in place by the management team.

Qualifications: Who you are and why you're right for us:

• Experience with RFID scanner experience - preferred not required.
• Experience utilizing or basic understanding of lot tags and expiration dates.
• Ability to follow instructions for operating equipment and record keeping.
• Ability to adapt to changes in priority and deadlines.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, a variety of shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Ability to work independently and or in a group setting, with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work in a refrigerated environment (-9º-42º Fahrenheit) for 8 or more hours and in some instances, in a dark environment. This includes executing assigned tasks in the freezer as needed.
