Job summary

Batchline Solutions is seeking a Sanitation Associate Level 2 at our Westampton, NJ facility. The role focuses on daily cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining production areas in accordance with GMPs and safety standards.

You will work in a refrigerated environment, follow SOPs, and assist with both cleaning on production lines and equipment maintenance. Strong attention to detail and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

  • At least 6 months of experience with food handling, sanitation, warehouse operations or related field preferred.
  • Ability to read, understand and follow manuals, procedures and policies in English.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment, independently with minimal supervision or in a group environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Must be self-motivated with a positive attitude and professionalism.
  • Ability to work in a refrigerated environment (-9º to -42º Fahrenheit).

Responsibilities

  • Daily cleaning and sanitizing of the production area.
  • Assist with conventional and organic cleaning on production lines.
  • Ensure compliance with production and industry standards (USFDA, NOP Organic).
  • Adhere to GMPs and SOP/SSOPs.
  • Follow safe use of chemical cleaners and power equipment.
  • Report hazards to supervisor or HR.
  • Complete daily record keeping forms.
  • Disassemble/reassemble machinery per manuals and SOPs.
  • Understand cleaning chemicals and proper dilutions.
  • Perform pre/post-op inspections after cleaning and reassembly.
  • Receive daily tasks and complete deep cleaning on schedule.
  • Follow all food safety rules and policies.
  • Service and clean restrooms and floors.
  • Support other teams with packing/auditing as needed.
  • Complete training and adhere to Batchline Solutions policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Sanitation Associate Level 2 Responsibilities

We are currently seeking highly motivated individuals to fill the Sanitation Associate Level 2 role at our food manufacturing facility located at 90 Stemmers Lane, Westampton, NJ 08060. The Sanitation Associate Level 2 is responsible for maintaining assigned areas clean through effective use of established procedures and chemicals as required by the sanitation program at Batchline Solutions They will also have comprehensive knowledge of disassembling, reassembling, inspecting and storage of all machinery on the production floor as identified in the deep cleaning schedule as well as, disposal of chemicals and all other activities related to the shipping of meal kit boxes. All Batchline Solutions employees are also required to adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), food handling procedures, quality control, and all safety procedures and policies in our distribution centers.


What will you be doing


  • Daily cleaning and sanitizing of the production area. This includes but is not limited to: interior and exterior of the warehouse.

  • Assist with conventional and organic cleaning on production lines in sanitation practices outlined by the company.

  • Ensure compliance with production and industry standards (USFDA, NOP Organic) by maintaining the Master Sanitation Schedule.

  • Adhere Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) guidelines by following cleaning procedures using established SOP/SSOPs.

  • Follow procedures for the safe use of chemical cleaners and power equipment as per manufacturer specifications to prevent damage to floor and fixtures.

  • Work responsibly and safely at all times. Report any hazardous conditions to a supervisor and or member of the Human Resources Department.

  • Properly complete daily record keeping forms as part of task documentation.

  • Follow all established procedures for proper machinery and equipment cleaning at all times and offer support and suggestions when necessary.

  • Safely shut down and safely disassemble machinery through comprehension of parts/operation manuals and SOPs for machines (i.e. dicer, sealer(s), sidebaggers, sleever, etc.). Possess operational knowledge to perform post operational check out of equipment cleaned.

  • Understand and apply knowledge of cleaning and sanitizing chemicals, ensuring proper dilution when mixing and using, to achieve effective results without compromising safety.

  • Knowledge of and ability to perform a pre/post-op inspection on all machinery after it has been cleaned and sanitized and reassembled.

  • Ability to receive daily tasks and complete deep cleaning scheduled tasks in the beginning of shift and follow them with little to no supervision by applying time management skills.

  • Responsible for following and enforcing all Food Safety rules and regulations.

  • Service, clean, and supply restrooms as well as clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.

  • Keep the facility clean, comfortable, and a great place to work.

  • As needed, support other teams with preparing, packing and auditing products.

  • Complete all required training as assigned.

  • Must follow Batchline Solutions policies and procedures.

  • Perform other duties as assigned or required.


Qualifications

  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, long hours and weekends as needed.
