Job summary

Neovia Logistics is seeking an Inventory Lead to oversee daily inventory operations in our Indiana warehouse, ensuring accurate counts, proper stock levels, and efficient material flow. You will lead cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, and support continuous improvement to maintain inventory accuracy and compliance with procedures.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years in inventory control, warehouse, or logistics
• Lead/coordinator/supervisory experience preferred
• Strong understanding of inventory management and warehouse operations
• Experience with WMS/ERP or inventory tracking software
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Basic to intermediate mathematical skills
• Ability to read, write, and interpret documents
• Proficiency with Excel and inventory reporting tools
• Detail-oriented and well-organized
• Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners (if certified)
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily inventory control activities within the warehouse
• Monitor inventory transactions for receipts, transfers, adjustments, and shipments
• Perform and oversee cycle counts, physical inventories, and audits; investigate discrepancies
• Maintain accurate inventory records in WMS and other tracking tools
• Collaborate with operations, shipping, receiving, and customer service teams
• Train and support team members on inventory processes and best practices
• Monitor locations and optimize storage utilization to improve efficiency
• Generate and analyze inventory reports to identify trends and improvements
• Ensure compliance with policies, safety standards, and quality requirements
• Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned
