Job summary

Patch Rubber, a Myers Industries Company, is seeking an Inventory Clerk to streamline the kitting area and align materials with the production schedule. The role connects Planning, Warehouse, Inventory Control, Purchasing, and Production to maintain an organized and efficient process.

Responsibilities include tracking kit status, identifying shortages early, and ensuring accurate material handling, lot information, and ERP data. A background in manufacturing and ERP usage is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, inventory, or production operations.
• 2+ years of manufacturing, warehouse, inventory, or material-handling experience.
• Experience with Acumatica or another ERP system.
• Cycle-counting and inventory-control experience.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and 5S.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily kitting activities based on the production schedule and work-order priorities.
• Review upcoming work orders and material requirements.
• Ensure materials are accurately picked, verified, identified, and staged for production.
• Track kits through Not Started, In Process, Complete, Short, and On Hold status.
• Identify material shortages before they impact scheduled production.
• Communicate shortages and material issues to Planning, Purchasing, Inventory Control, and Production.
• Coordinate with Material Handlers to ensure kits are completed on time.
• Verify part numbers, quantities, units of measure, lot information, and other required material information.
