Job summary

AT ALCO Gramercy Operations is seeking an experienced Inventory Analyst to support inventory accuracy, material availability, stocking strategy, and data integrity for the Gramercy refinery. You will analyze inventory levels, maintain item master data, manage cycle counts, and identify opportunities to reduce excess inventory without compromising operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in inventory analysis, materials management, storeroom or warehouse operations, planning, or analytics.
• Experience managing MRO, spare parts, and consumable inventories in an industrial environment.
• Experience administering cycle count programs and resolving variances.
• Experience setting and maintaining min/max levels, reorder points, and safety stock.
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems; strong Excel/BI skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory accuracy across all warehouses and locations, including quantities, units of measure, bin locations, and item descriptions.
• Own and administer the cycle count program, including schedules, variance research, and root-cause analysis.
• Investigate and resolve variances, negative balances, and receipt discrepancies with Warehouse and Accounting.
• Develop and maintain inventory reporting and analytical dashboards in Excel and ERP tools.
• Analyze consumption history to establish min/max, reorder points and safety stock.
• Coordinate material availability for maintenance, outages, and capital projects.
• Support procurement alignment of stocking levels with supplier lead times and contracts.
• Provide data-driven insights to optimize stocking strategy and storeroom layout.
