Qualifications

• Experience with vendor and customer returns and related policies.

Responsibilities

• Accurately counts bulk merchandise in primary warehouse locations and monitors variances; performs adjustments as needed.
• Contacts vendors/customers and assists with resolutions to meet company guidelines.
• Identifies problematic situations and implements appropriate solutions.
• Requests return authorizations, pulls product, packages, ships returns and recalls.
• Provides internal and external customer support with knowledge of processes.
• Involved with Physical Inventory and recommends final adjustments.
• Develops, implements, and creates SOPs for new processes and procedures with approval.
• Supports Inventory Department with tasks and liaises between departments.
• Complies with policies, safety rules, and DEA regulations.
• Works overtime and participates in physical inventory.
• Analyzes inventory including slow moving and short dated items.
• Coordinates inventory movements with other departments.
• Develops SOPs for plans to return static inventory to manufacturing.
• Resolves discrepancies in credits related to product returns.
• Updates inventory values at price change times per manufacturer instructions.
• Collaborates with management to improve processes and SOPs.
• Trains new Inventory Clerks.
• Troubleshoots issues with systems used by Inventory.
• Tests, validates, and implements system changes with Corporate approval.
